橋姿各異,
柳煙繚繞人家。
店面琳瑯,
都城自古繁華。
紅墻琉璃擁白塔，
故宮雄、北?？凹?。
小船輕，
蕩漾湖中，
倒映春花。

華燈夜放長街畔，
更流光溢彩，
月籠輕紗。
如晝商街，
游人臂踵摩擦。
車如水流長龍擺，
有虹霓、掩映煙霞。
響笙歌，
人睦和諧，
贊好年華。

The Scene of Beijing

Row upon row of high buildings stand,
Bridges with different shapes,
The willows like smoke cover the cottages land.
Stores with the array of beautiful exhibits for the eyes
The capital has been flourishing since ancient times.
Red wall with glazed roof surroundsthe white pagoda,
The Imperial Palace and Beihai Park are grandeur.
The small boat is light when I sit in,
Paddling on the surface of the lake,
The spring flowers reflected in the water with splendor.

Colorful lights on the long street in the night,
More attractive, moreambilight,
Making the moon veiled in light.
The business street is as bright as in the day,
Visitors thronged the sidewalks with hey.
Cars in a long queue like running water flow,
The neon lamps are more beautiful than the rainbow.
Some music and songring out adding to the gaiety,
For the people harmonious with each other,
In praise of thetimes of peace and prosperity.

飛峙大江東，
四面臨風。
江滔滾滾，
水色天同。
歌吹韻律鏗鏗。
看落霞孤鶩，
舞斜陽，
雨后彩虹。
嘆詩人，
一賦驚四座，
千古傳誦。

滄海桑田巨變，
又幾度春風，
姹紫嫣紅。
稻熟嶺南，
林綠塞北，
魚肥萬頃洞庭。
喜民安樂業，
溫飽足，
其悅融融。
圖復興，
展民族宏愿，
萬馬奔騰。

With Carved beams and painted rafters,
The pavilion stands erectlyon the east of the Yangtze River,
I enjoy the four directions wind on the top of the pavilion,
And overlook the billowsugaring in the river,
The sky and water has the same blue color.
Someone sings and blows the flutein rhythmic jingling,
I viewrosy evening clouds and lone ducks fly together,
Dancing with the setting sun,
Rain stops and rainbow appears soon after.
I sigh for the great poet,
An article won the exclaims from all the listeners,
It is still a widely recite through the ages by readers.

The sea has changed into a mulberry orchard,
Again the spring breeze is blowing,
The brilliant purple and red flowers are blooming.
In south of the Five Ridges the ears of paddyare mellow,
In the north ofthe frontier fortress green forest overflow,
In the million hectares of DongtingLake Fishesfully grow.
Glad to see the people live a prosperous lifein fulfilling,
With enough food and clothing,
They are happy and harmonizing.
To realize the revival onward,
To carry on the national ambition,
The nation, like the galloping steeds, marches forward.
